COENZYME Q10Protects the Heart from Adriamycin!Coenzyme Q10 is found in the mitochondria of every cell in your body. The mitochondria are known as the power houses of cells because they produce most of the cell's energy. Coenzyme Q10 is very crucial for this energy production. A pilot study done on patients receiving Adriamycin chemotherapy found that those individuals that took Coenzyme Q10 before the initiation of the chemotherapy did NOT have a significant decrease in the functioning of their hearts.
